OFW pinauwi ng Amo Ng walang kahit ano dala kahit piso walang dala ito

A plane ride from Jeddah to Kuwait was an interesting flight for this passenger as he sat next to an OFW who had a peculiar story.

A male passenger got curious as he heard a woman talk about what happened to her in abroad. He spoke to her and inquired about what happened to her. The OFW then told the passenger her story.

Abella Dawat was an overseas Filipino worker who worked in Bahrain. She was suddenly sent home by her boss for no obvious reason. Abella was shocked because they were still eating their lunch when all of a sudden, she was told that her flight will be at three o’clock in the afternoon. She had no other choice as she was pulled out of the house, into the car and was driven headed straight to the airport.

She also said that her female employer often got into jealous rages and would accuse her of having an affair with her male employer. This may be why she was unceremoniously kicked out.

Abella was not able to bring her things with her– all she had were the clothes on her back and that was it. Her boss did not even give her money or her salary. The OFW began crying as she told her story, making her co-passenger feel sad for her even more.

The passenger asked her where her hometown was in the Philippines and she answered Urdaneta, in Pangasinan.

Knowing that the OFW was penniless, the passenger offered to give her his excess money. He felt sorry for not being able to help her more, so he offered to withdraw money once they landed. Abella said her thank you’s, and said that his excess money was enough for her to reach her family in their province.

Her co-passengers were also able to help her by giving some of their extra money since she had nothing with her.

A few commenters from social media showed their support and encouragement for the OFW who was a victim of unexpected firing.
