A 14-year-old girl almost died after she became a target of four bullies. The attack happened in the province of Busan in South Korea. The victim’s photos went viral online and netizens were outraged at the people responsible.

CCTV footage revealed that a group of middle school students tortured the teenager. A metal pipe, chair, soju bottles, and even lit cigarettes were used to attack her. She was left injured and bloody from the incident that lasted for an hour and a half. In fact, she almost lost her life from the serious wounds.

Apparently, the bullies took a photo of the bloody victim to brag about what they did. They even sent it to another student and were proud about the torture. The three girls who attacked the teenagers were the same age as her and the other one is a 13-year-old.

Thankfully, after they left her a passer-by discovered the poor teenager lying on the side of the road. She was brought to the hospital and luckily survived.

The hospital where the victim was treated took photos of her injuries. She has deep cuts that ripped her scalp. The wound may have come from the soju bottles.

Also, her face is barely recognizable as her eyes and lips were very swollen. Because of this, she could not eat solid food.

Two hours after the incident, the suspects turned themselves to the police. When they were asked why they attacked the girl, they answered that simply hated her.

The victim’s mother stated that the bullies had already previously physically harmed the teenager because she answered a call from one of the girls’ boyfriends. However, though the mom did not report the first incident, she just could not let this one slide because her daughter almost died.

“My daughter was beaten up a second time and her face is now a mess. They say the reason was because they wanted revenge for the last time we reported them. Two months ago, a boy she knew contacted her. He was [one of the attacker’s] boyfriend. She was beaten up for picking up his call, and now she was beaten up for reporting the first attack,” the victim’s mother said.

The three suspects are now in custody, but the 13-year-old could not be held due to the Juvenile law. However, she will still be facing charges.
