Agot Isidro Disappointed on Ozamiz Police Chief Jovie Espenido’s Special Award
Aside from her talent in acting, Agot Isidro is also well-known for expressing herself regarding political issues. In the past, the actress was involved in a controversy when she called President Rodrigo Duterte a “psychopath.”
Now, the celebrity once again spoke her mind regarding the news that Ozamiz City Police Chief Jovie Espenido received the “Outstanding Performance in Anti-illegal Drug Operations” special award for what his role in the notorious Parojinog family raid.
According to a report by ABS-CBN, Espenido received the award during the 116th anniversary of the police service. The award was also given to the police chief by the President himself.
If you read Agot’s post, then you’ll immediately sense how disappointed she is that the police chief was given an award for leading the bloody raid. Despite allegations of certain irregularities, such as the CCTV cameras in the Parojinog residence being cut, Espenido has consistently claimed that the raid was legitimate and legal.
Aside from the president and police chief Espenido, Agot also recently lashed out on Twitter when she called Police Superintendent Marvin Marcos and PNP Chief Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa a bunch of #bozos.
